Viewpoint 2064?

For reasons unknown to me, I was looking through the N64 section of IGN earlier. I came across this little section about a sequel to a certain Neo-Geo shmup.

The screenshots alone might make it look like a 3D shooter (except one), but what's the deal with this game? Did it ever see the light of day?

Graphics kinda remind me of Star Soldier for N64...too bad it was never released. I donb't know about this one, but Neo Viewpoint kix azz.

I completely forgot about this! It at least looked neat, was bummed it got cancelled.

Lots of influence from other shmups, which is kind of cool, I would have expected more of a starfox clone. Wish I could dump it.

Looks pretty nice. I remember seeing the shots in magazines and always wondered what happened to it. I wouldn't hold my breath for a dump of it though, although it would be nice.

That draw distance though... Silent Hill shmup? I wonder if that would have been improved in a final version?

Looks like a decent little on-rails shooter. I'd play it. Here's to hoping it will someday be dumped.
