HUGE ENEMY is a 2D horizontal shooter game, with dynamic game-play,
using FRONT and DEPTH Weapons with a VIEWFINDER to target everything on screen.

[h1]TWO MODES OF GAME PLAY: NORMAL AND MONEY SURVIVAL. [/h1]
Play NORMAL to UNLOCK additional challenges in MONEY SURVIVAL.
MONEY SURVIVAL adds more game-play (BOSSES, SUCCESSES, DURATION, EVENTS, ...)

• Use Doge action to avoid enemies and obstacles

• Switch between 5 different weapons
• Fire into the Depth to destroy enemies in the background
• Steal energy from enemies to replenish your shield

• Eradicate all enemies with 3 powerful MEGA WEAPONS
• When damaged, exact revenge using 3 diferent PAYBACK systems
• Unlock successes to ADD TIME DURATION to MEGA WEAPONS and PAYBACKS

• START the fight from any unlocked level

Hi,
We are a 3 men team and we are proud to present : HUGE ENEMY - WORLDBREAKERS
We love 2D games such as « R-type » and « Last Resort » and we chose to create an horizontal shoot them up for our first game.

With a science-fiction world, new items such as Depth shooting, Dodge and Payback inside a dark quality graphic style.

HUGE ENEMY - WORLDBREAKERS is made by players for players.
Created using knowledge of video games and many conversations with players.
The good asking questions was : “What new and dynamic features can we put inside a New shoot them up ?“

Looks pretty cool! I love the graphics.

Is that ship in the background of the middle screenshot firing at you? That's pretty sweet! I love interactions like that.

Yes the game is based on depth shots. Player can fire straight or in differents depths, enemies too. :mrgreen:
this create a interesting gameplay timing with foreground and background management.

This looks gorgeous. I am especially intrigued by your Xevious/Rayforce fire-into-the-background mechanic. Can't wait to try out a demo. Good luck in there!

Our depth shot system is more inspired as WAlker( amiga) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfN1cyigIM8 than the missile/bomb system from most of the vertical shooter. We've try to rethink this concept to turn it into more dynamic gameplay. This was very very difficult , and we really understand nobody try do what we've done, but it worth very well now^^!
Player can easely switch two modes : normal or depth mode. You could try it in few mounths. We hope you will enjoy.

Here are some bosses from our curent developemnt stage.
Flamethrower, gateling and laser swords will be weapons used against your little poor ship.

Hori's are not usually my thing, but this looks really good.
You're sure to be in a fine haze about now, but don't think too hard about all of this. Just go out and kill a few beasts. It's for your own good. You know, it's just what hunters do! You'll get used to it.

Dodge is a main feature in B.O.B.
it is a way to take a breathe and move around the screen to regain the advantage on the enemy.
Found below a new screenshot from the intro which illustrates this concept.

Hi all,
This is a battle cruiser named IRELLE. Multiples tracking lasers set the rhythm as the main beam will brings the mélodic solo. I guess The song will be catchy! I hope you are ready to dancing?

IRELLE cruiser integration with the "white" level's background. You could see it's place and the remaining space on the screen.
The white level is a rare level has not yet been ravaged by WorldBreakers. Marco, the game's main protagonist, could he save this town?

Hello all, We are working on the environments at this moment.
It seems quiet but don't be fooled, Once enemies cames out you are going to be very busy. Bath of Blood atmospheres are very important for us.

Don't hesitate to like it on networks and spead the words to your fiends about our game

Very nice! Does the IRELLE class lower its bottom "jaw" to shoot the giant laser from its "mouth"? It would be a nice animation.

And that boss tune is tight. It reminds me of the boss music in Hard Corps: Uprising.

Tell us what's your opinion about this if you haven't even play the demo ( why don't you have already done that? :P ), or if the game beat you too soon ( yeah it happen sometime) .
