Akai Katana - Origin Mode Question?
Akai Katana - Origin Mode Question?
I've tried finding the answer somewhere online, and even on these forums, but the answer eludes me. Does anyone happen to know why with the Jpn. X360 version of AKS, in Origin mode, why does it force you to play only as the 3rd plane? I've seen plenty of other videos online where people can choose which plane they want in origin mode, just like climax mode. Just wondering, not trying to sound stupid.

It's been awhile since I sold my JP copy of AK, but I don't recall being forced to choose a particular plane in any mode...

I'm not sure if its a region thing, but I don't really think so. But in any case, you can go to the game options and select a preferred ship type before selecting a game mode, selecting that ship automatically bypasses the character select screen and into the game. Of course, you can turn this off though.

Sounds possible Neo. Any chance you know which menu option this is, or how to turn it off? ie. I can't read Japanese fluently yet.

Okay, go to "Settings" (Option 6 in main menu), then select "Game Settings" (Option 1), then once you're there, you should see "Settings Type" (From A-J), select any letter set and go to "Player Type" which lets you select your preferred ship type (Pilot/Phantom) or leave it all with the 3 pilots/faces, that's the one your should be selecting.Quantium wrote:Sounds possible Neo.
