Help! Ripping PC Engine CD games

Post by iatneH »

This might be against the forum rules, but if it is then mods please PM me and I'll delete the thread.

Anyway, I have an original copy of Gate of Thunder (Japanese version) and I wanted to rip it to .iso and .wav so I can play it in the PCE emulator for GP2X (and PSP). I've been able to make a 1:1 copy by ripping a single huge .bin file, but whenever I use CDRWin to rip individual tracks, it stops near the end of the first audio track, and also at the end of the first data track.

Anybody come across another game that does this? Any reliable way to rip the tracks separately? Thanks..

Use Nero to rip the files by itself. ;)

Back in the day Gear Replicator was the best for this. Then Disc Juggler. Never had any luck w/ CDRWin.

Didn't even know Nero had this feature. Anyway, you are my hero! Worked a charm and just had a quick run of Gate of Thunder on my GP2X, very sweet! Thanks!
