Picked up a PS4. Now I'm all set for Metal Gear V, Street Fighter V, Guilty Gear, Darius Burst, etc.

I need to get an arcade stick. Should I get the Madcatz this time or stick with Hori?

So I started a band a month ago - trombone and tuba with effects, keys, and drums. I've been slowly building a live tuba rig, and it's finally complete. I'm using an Electroharmonix MicroPog, Markbass Super Synth and Distorsore, and Boss ME-50B for my sounds, and I'm running them through a 1200 watt amp pushing 4 10's and a 15. I am the destroyer of worlds.

I've been after Demon's Blazon for some time now.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Battle Mania looks in lovely shape!

I'm glad I picked up Demon's Blazon when I did, a few years back - it's one of those games I like more than love but still had to have, with it realising the trilogy's world in gorgeous 16-bit. Absorbingly beautiful settings and music.

Also the SFC box murders the SNES one's face off, even moreso than usual. One of the more swaggeringly brutish SFC covers this side of Majuu Ou.

Warning, a huge piece of history is approaching fast!

Now that new Coin Op Legacy "gamecenter" is re-open in Paris (France), i can tell you about my new legendary cab... Sagaia (export name of Darius 2) is now available and fully playable in Paris. Probably the only one outside Japan.

Nice cab! There's one in the UK too, I owned it about 5-7 years ago, it's with Big Boss (I think) now.

Summer for me means more time to grab retro games. This is essentially what I picked up in the last month or so. Better late than never... Loose on the Nintendo stuff because I'm 10 years late to the party. :?

To this day, I cannot get into this game. I can see it's quality, but something is not clicking. Maybe at some point.
I used to not like Ristar, so it's possible.

The Julius K9 dog harness

Image

It just arrived in the mail today and we're already in love with it. Apparently this is the model harness they use for police dogs. It's built like a brick shithouse, fits like a dream, and it's easy as can be to put on and take off. The last harness I used (comfortflex) was pretty good, but it had two major design flaws that caused it to die after a year of heavy use (velcro on the strap that wore out and a free dangling leash ring that wore out the strap it was hanging off). This new harness will probably last the rest of my dog's life!

Also, those ugly logo labels on the side are removable velcro patches.

The thing is, I got the blue harness and my dog looks kinda like a police dog in it.

Crap picture but it came from my Twitter page.

Top: Hori HRAP VX-SA dual-modded for X360/PS3 but it is only being used for PC. This stick is of course modded with the Blast City overlay. When received I knocked down the button count to four and the Sanwa JLF Resistor gate was swapped with a Sanwa Four Way gate. This is for four way puzzle games but in reality this is for the TGM series.

Bottom: Hori HRAP VX-SE Kai for X360 but like the other stick it is being used for PC. Replaced all the Seimitsu buttons with Sanwa blacks and reduce the button count to four. Currently the stick has a LS-32-01 but later in the week I'm going to swap out the stick with a LS-56-01. People here were giving it high praise so for $28 with the extra mounting plate, octo gate, etc. it is worth a shot. Can't wait to be honest since the LS-32-01 now becomes a little meh for my taste. This is of course for Shmups, older arcade titles.

Thanks! We're going to record an album in late October - we're doing one of those "live in the studio" kinds of things with an audience present and lots of video cameras set up (if you've seen any of Snarky Puppy's YouTube videos, the setup will be essentially like that). I'll definitely share everything once it's finalized!

A bunch of parts. Long story short replace the LS-32-01 that was in my shmup stick and swap it with the LS-56-01. Now I see why people prefer the LS-56 to the LS-32. LS-32 feels too much like a Sanwa. Octo gate is sweet!.

I dunno, I don't think I would want guests in the house when "art from the internet" streams into my living room wall.

^Dunno, considering that he's in PxZ2, and the package is NRFB, lol. I find it funny the packaging is all English (maybe Engrish) text considering where this figure was made at, lol.
