Great. Thanks for that.
Any more scores? I'm now vowing to update my leaderboards a lot more regularly!

Re: Raiden IV - Xbox 360/Arcade [Now includes Overkill modes
Overkill's Additional Mode and 360 Mode should probably be merged unless someone has a good reason why they shouldn't be. It's the same scoring system, same stages as far as i can tell.
Yes, i actually bought Overkill and I'm currently enjoying it a bit more on than I did on the 360, though that could be it's been so long since I last played the game, would have to see if that stays true over time.
Also got up to Stage 4 boss on Arcade Light, then found that this board only has that for double play(not that I think you should add it, but I'll probably go for an All in this mode first, plus even then I could submit it at Restart Syndrome)
Edit: A little over 17 million to stage 4 boss on Arcade Light, then a little over 17 million to a little before stage 4 boss on Arcade mode(whichever difficulty is used in World Rankings). Going to need to practice a bit. As far as I can tell, the difficulty of the 2 modes feels the same to me, well not counting the fact that Light doesn't loop. I think I'll just go for the 1-All right now.
Also need to watch some Overkill replays to see how you play that mode, but the high scores seem lower than the arcade and 360/Additional mode is possible of getting

They shouldn't be merged. Overkill features 2 bonus mission stages, and you can get bonus 1up's during them (don't remember if it's 1 or 2) That is a game changer if you really take the investment to play through the game. Overkill's scoring system is also modified. You shoot the shit out of dead planes and get up to lvl 5 medals for overkill. You get /somewhat/ substantial points if you take advantage of it. But eventually it comes down to just surviving.Chaos Phoenixma wrote:Overkill's Additional Mode and 360 Mode should probably be merged unless someone has a good reason why they shouldn't be. Re: Raiden IV - Xbox 360/Arcade [Now includes Overkill modes
I'm referring to the "Additional Mode" in Overkill, not the "Overkill mode"
The description for Additional Mode is "Variation of Arcade Mode with 2 new stages" , which I'm pretty sure are stage 5 and 6(with arcade's stage 5 switched to stage 7), not the missions added in Overkill.(someone could maybe do a run of 360 and Additional to check for any important differences, but they sound the same to me). Additional mode also uses the scoring system from the Arcade/360 mode with speedkills and higher score gained from the charged missiles(Overkill's charged missiles give less points)
As far as I'm aware, it completely makes the 360 version obsolete in terms of gameplay(though replays on that version would currently be better for Arcade and 360/Additional) since all the modes from the 360 are included in Overkill with the addition of Overkill mode.

My apologies. Additional Mode should be the exact same as X360 Mode.Chaos Phoenixma wrote:I'm referring to the "Additional Mode" in Overkill, not the "Overkill mode"

Edit: Removed scores since World Ranking Defaults to Normal Difficulty instead of Original for Arcade Mode. Will try to get a proper 1-All and progress on Original instead. Wouldn't want a score for Normal to be on the Arcade leaderboard.

Re: Raiden IV - Xbox 360/Arcade [Now includes Overkill modes
OverKill is a separate mode that already has seven stages.
The default ship that everyone's been using is actually the Fighting Thunder ME-02 Kai (the original ME-02 is in Raiden III). The Raiden mkII is the DLC ship that has the green Proton Laser from III.
