Disappointed to hear that it won't be coming out for a few months, but nice to know that it's coming!

More time to master xiizeal I suppose!

I'd like to bring them to GOG, but I didn't get much interest initially because it's not as much of a cult phenom as Crimzon. With DeltaZeal on the way now, I can probably work on them a bit more.

GoG would be nice, as I have them on 360 but would put the money down for something I could keep hold of for my own archives. If it's never going to happen then I'll have to Steam it to show support - but wouldn't actually play it as the 360 is where my scores are!

Might as well post them then: XIIZEAL, ΔZEAL

I think part of the issue with the popularity of XIIZeal/DeltaZeal is that apart from the name changes vs the original incarnations, Crimzon Clover World Ignition I think got a lot of attention having an immaculate trailer broadcasted at Stunfest, having the creator of the game also being a WR player being present at the time, and a new topic created here to drum up a bit of hype on the front page. XIIZeal and DeltaZeal got none of that, and on top of that they're not Cave-like games so I'm not too surprised the sales have been small.

Still, I'm really glad this is happening. I purchased XIIZeal and will purchase DeltaZeal for PC when it rolls out as well. Also chipping in my request for DRM-free versions somehow, be it via GOG or a patch to the existing versions to disable Steam-specific features where necessary etc.

Any chance you guys could add in a switch to play the music at its original speed (current track speed x 0.95, I can upload a sample comparison if you need examples)?

I am incredibly proud to announce that we'll be releasing Qute's Eschatos on PC this September. Eschatos is a fantastic shooter with lots of fan appeal, so we're really thrilled to have the opportunity to bring it to a global audience where more players can have a chance to play it. Cheers!

Expected release date is mid September. Price is still being finalized, but we expect it will be somewhere around 15 USD. The OST is amazing, so yes, we will be offering that as well in lossless FLAC.
JSS and CS are planned, but the details aren't finalized yet (more info when I get it).

Of course I will also buy the PC version as well!

Sorry guys, I really wanted to tell you that the PC version was right around the corner in the Eschatos thread, but I had to get all the promo assets and relevant launch details in place first >_<.

I wouldn't go that far >_<. There have been a lot of really cool indie games released recently. Playism's been releasing some really great titles like Astebreed and Revolver 360 too.

Blackbird

you just made me go AHH!

in real life

Eschatos was one of the harder games to sell when I let everything go. This is just so wonderful.

Tell MKAI I love him. Not that "we" love him. Me. Specifically.

(since it sounds like JSS and CS will be separate thing, is there any chance of us seeing a new release of Self-Produce? Or any of his other stuff (Pleasure Hearts or other assorted Japanese PC games?))?

Even if I already own the game on Xbox 360, I am very grateful for what you have done for the shmup community in the last year. It is greatly appreciated. :)

You can see Steam logo in the bottom of the poster. I guess that's a confirmation.
If watching the trailer of the game
makes you feel a certain way
I would be very happy if
you would give the game a try

Yeah, for clarification it's planned for Steam first. Obviously we would love to get it on GOG and other places too if they're interested.

We'll probably do something similar to the CC AST with Eschatos, where we make it a premium item with album art and integration into the game (if possible). That will probably be a bit later on though. I'd also considered creating/compiling some kind of community remix project and hosting that on Steam as community content since the soundtrack is so great.

Eschatos is pretty much the single greatest scrolling shooter of all time. Basically if I had to pick three scrolling shooters to play forever they would be Eschatos, Mushi Futari Black, and Mars Matrix. It's that good. It's so good. Wishing you guys the best of luck. You guys are officially the fucking *best*.

(Well I mean M-KAI and Qute are the best but you guys are Pretty Durned Cool)
