Wadatsumi is Hell. The only way I have been able to clear it is to bring in a high multiplier lead and play my ass off/get lucky. There aren't any teams that I know of that make it straightforward. Every time I've had to tackle it I've tried to come up with something new/clever, but it always falls apart. This time it was an Awoken Venus team which, on paper, seems completely viable since you're getting 75% damage reduction on basically everything in the dungeon if you play it smart, but it went to Hell when I couldn't deal enough damage with the low damage multiplier and no supporting awakenings to burst down the floors that are damage races. Switched back to Ra and bulldozed it, but even that is very risky without the skill boost and movement time awakenings. I wish they would retire this piece of shit.

Friendly reminder to everyone:

We're getting our first reset for the Best Friend feature tomorrow. Existing Best Friend links will be maintained, but the ability to select a Best Friend will be reset, allowing you to select yet another Best Friend. Why is this important? Well, if you have not yet used your first Best Friend request before the maintenance tomorrow, it will go to waste. Also, of course, I suggest using your Best Friend request on me if you have not already since I play this game religiously and am just an all around amazing person.

Sending personalised messages to your potential Best Friends is also a good idea , as I've already had 6 BF confirmation messages this morning. :D *chuckle

BTW my Memorial Pull was a Light Metatron :)

Have a nice weekend

Too bad :( (Still worth some MP with the future update)

I have decided to feed my chibis (2 Cao Caos and 2 Liu Beis) to my proper 3-Kingdom monsters for skill-ups, but no luck even with a 2.5 chance... Nevermind, I am hoping to max skill my Apollo later today, only one skill-level is missing. Apollo is also a nice Sakuya sub, speaking of the devil.

:?: Does anyone know how many best friends you can have and benefit from?

I was going to FAV my new BFs but cannot see the golden badge next to their names except for one.

Is there a BF limit or is it just a technical delay?

EDIT: It works now, all players that BFed me show up as such in the Friend List.
So, there is obviously no limit to possible BFs.

If you're talking about you BFing another user, only 2 times if you did one before the new update. I'm not sure about how many users can BF you.

And I got Neptune from the Memorial Pull, which is nice.

Finally got that green jewel from Yamato challenge Kaguya level, 10 tries at least.

Ill forget Wadatsumi for the blue one and will farm Aamir on sunday instead. Is that dungeon rather easy ? I dont understand how the skill sets mentionned on padx work.

A skill set is just a group of attacks that are all used in the same turn.

Overall I don't think Aamir is too difficult because there are quite a few floors where it's rather easy to stall (5, 6, and 7). Against Aamir himself, you have to be sure to wait out his 2-turn shield that absorbs damage over 500k. Hopefully he won't bind any key cards while you're doing that. While you're stalling against Aamir, make sure to move as many heart orbs as you can away from the left-most and right-most columns, because he has a move in skill set 3 that converts those columns into wood and dark. This is just so you don't end up without enough heart orbs to heal in case you need to.

I'm now proud owner of the Norn Urd... which I evolved today into Norn of the Past, Urd and I threw 5 tamadras at her to awaken her completely and all the super king/king metal dragons I farmed yesterday, amazing stuff. My next game? Gain about 30 ranks in order to have Uriel and then evolved Uriel (got all the stuff for him for evo), replace one of the ogres as subs in my red team.

Thanks for the help aisha, I can form a Verdandi team to farm Aamir pretty easily hopefully.
Also congrats to Kaiser, dont hesitate to level up urd, and get friends who hqve her too.

Question, what is the most interesting normal dungeon to farm’during 3x +eggs rate in terms of xp, fodder, drops, etc... ?

@Kaiser If you're hurting for Urd friends you can add my alt. account which has a max awoken Norn of the Past as its main lead: 370,657,386

It looks like I can finally get Cleopatra now that Ocean Dragon Knight is up in the current coin dungeon rotation. Has this dungeon ever available normally or is it coins only? 500,000 isn't exactly a lot of money but I would still rather not pay if I don't have to.

Almost forgot. My memorial pull was Apollo. He's not a dupe and his new ult kind of reminds me of Mega Man so....yay? :|

Yeah, when this Dragon Knight series was first introduced last year, each dungeon was available normally for a period of two weeks. It used to be that biweekly series like this would come back for short periods of time every now and then, but coin dungeons were introduced before that could happen with this series in particular. Coin dungeons are actually getting so crowded now that the Dragon Knight series (as well as the War Dragon series, if I remember correctly) will be taken out of rotation and added as Technical Dungeons that are always available. I think it's like that in JP already but I'm not sure when it's slated to happen elsewhere.

Hera Challenges are up. I absolutely need those noel dragons on the final stage since I slept right through extreme metals today at 7:00AM.

Yesterday I finished leveling my Ganesha. I have this new idea to hit Bamboo Grove with dual Ganesha leads when it comes back around for 2M-3M coins per run @ only 30 stamina each. I've actually been considering going all out and hypermaxing Ganesha just as something a bit different (I've never seen anyone do so) since actually I think he could be a pretty amazing situational sub with his dual light TPA, amazing RCV, and 100% damage void active. Now that I'm almost 100% finished with my core Ra team, I'm feeling a little bit more free to invest in/experiment with some cards that aren't as popular.

Also, Star Vault tomorrow!

I think Weekend - Legend has a higher Coins/Stamina ratio than Bamboo Grove, so you could get more by running that, but it might be harder to clear with dual Ganesha leads. I've become a fan of my Ganesha once I found out I could easily run Weekend - Legend with mine as an unleveled leader. It gives me 1.6~1.8 million coins per run, which leaves me with more money than I can spend throughout the week.

It's a shame that Ganesha has no skill-up fodder because I agree that he has the potential to be a great sub otherwise. At one point I was planning on using him in my light Kali team as another source of damage, but then I pulled a second light Kali, which ended up taking over that role, with a max-skilled dark Izanami taking over the task of damage reduction. (I really wish I could pull dark Kali so I could work her and Indra into that team...)

Anyone noticed that you can actually move an orb during the dark screen between two floors ? Version 8.4.1 used

During the dark screen, place your finger on an orb, dont move. The orb will lift and you can move it freely across the board. Place it where you like, but beware :
- if your move result in a match, then it will count as a turn on the next floor.
- the orb will get to where you drop it in a straight line (no matter which moves you made) and move the other orbs accordingly.
- now the interesting part : if your move does not result in a match, this will not count as a turn on the next floor. This allows you to set up your board a bit better.

I could run that team if I had dark Kali and Ra; with perhaps Sun Quan instead of Isis for even more unnecessarily high damage. Anyway, that team looks gorgeous. Congrats! :) Is everyone max-skilled too?

My typical S-rank strategy for the Taiko colab didn't cut it. I normally run I use a Verdandi lead and helper (preferably guigui's +297 Verd) and pad it out with one star green filler trash but I wasn't able to take down Brave Don-chan fast enough and his buffed attack killed me. I notice the point value needed for the S rank is 130,000 rather than the usual 250,000 that I am used to dealing with. Is there a point value to rarity level breakdown available that will let me know how many decent subs I can sneak on my team and still nab my Tamadra?

Necro's hunch was right. It looks like last nights maintenance brought us new ults for Haku, Kirin, Leilan, Ganesha and last but not least Dark Kali! I am of course woefully unprepared and lack the Rainbow Keeper and Dub-topalit that my DKali and Ganesha require but at least we have an evo-rush scheduled for tomorrow. Possibly even more exiting are the new GF exclusive Dragon Callers which are apparently available the next time a GF rolls around. Kanna and Satsuki look particularly awesome.

I usually run Yomi/Anubis for S-ranks. I used to do the low rarity thing a long time ago, but I switched to the average combo strategy and never looked back. So much fun!

Here's a run-down on scoring and S-ranking:

I don't roll the REM much anymore. I'm not sure these new GFEs are appealing enough to tempt me after finishing my Ra team, but they are certainly cool.

Necro, can you do 230k points with your comboing team ? I can usually do it with double verdandi as jon said, did not try taiko collab though.

Scyzag, still playing the game ? We dontbsee you that often, have you chosen your best friend yet ? Easy pal points for everyone, id 318 151 352

Meanwhile, im still farming thursday mythical to get green fruits for verdandi skill up, 8 runs today, 4 reds, 4 blues, meeeeeeeeeeeh.

Yeah, I can usually swing the 230k with average combo, though those dungeons are typically so easy that I can also downgrade the rarity of some of my subs just a little bit if I'm having any trouble doing so, and, of course, finish in the fewest turns possible for some points there as well.

Erf, I thought that skilling up Verdandi is hard, and it is.
But skilling up Light Metatron will be hell ! I will try to get 25 yellow chasers from lightseeker, play the patience game, and hope this will be enough.

Chaser skill-ups are brutal. It took several returns of Watery Temptress to max-skill my Haku, and I think I caved in and finished her off with a Badpy. Watery Temptress is worse than Lightseeker though, because the difficulty only goes up to Expert, so getting Purple Chaser drops is actually uncommon. For Light Chaser materials, I recommend running Rainbow Stone Magic Dragon, especially on Mondays, since you're guaranteed a Light Keeper drop per run, as well as opportunities to get Topalits.

The upcoming Godfests look poor for me. From day 1 I'm only missing Leilan and Okuninushi, and with no chance at dark Kali, I'm just plain not pulling. From day 2, I don't really want any more Indian 2 or Angel 2 gods, perhaps except for Rozuel, but some of the new exclusives look very nice so maybe I'll try a couple of times.

Thanks for the rainbow stone tip, ill definitely go that route and let you know how skillups go. At least I could max my tsubone this time, 2/5 and 1/1, too easy.

Godfest does not look that good indeed, but the new lineup for exclusives is interesting,. See that dark moon dragon caller http://puzzledragonx.com/en/monster.asp?n=2150

I hope kaiser rolls it to go with his cerberus rider.
