While it may appear Konami has forgotten about all of their series that aren’t Metal Gear Solid and Pro Evolution Soccer, Konami is polling fans about what games they want to see from Konami in the future.



The list is an interesting mix with Bomberman from the Hudson acquisition, Sunset Riders (which is nearly 25 years old), Gradius (plus Parodius!), Castlevania, and Suikoden.

I want most of those games, honestly. What I really want is for them to go back in time and not disband Team Silent. Talk about a dumb mistake.

Team Silent wasn't disbanded, and indeed never really existed as such. What the fuckfaces in higher management did do was farm the series out to random nobodies for quick cash, while the likes of Hiroyuki Owaku and Masahiro Ito went unconsulted and nobody kept an eye on Takayoshi Sato. Oh wellz, slash and burn.

Anyhoo, Konami can beg for my dick after they've gone a week without water. I'd make them fight for it. With hammers and screwdrivers.

When did they ever forget about them? I know ReBirth had them, and I'm sure to have seen them in footage of Gradius V as well.

I don't remember having seen them in Gradius Gaiden, but really don't mind this. The series can do better than consistently repeat the same stage settings.

I think you've got it backwards - Gaiden had a Moai stage (whose boss memorably taunts you; "You think you can beat me with that? Loser!"), but V did not.
