Dang, I thought Dynamite Duke sounded familiar! Shoulda known after that track starts losing focus once it drifts away from the source material.

I like the duke version more. :/

I'm sure you guys remember how Alltynex second ripped off Thunder force.

I recall BIL posted a song he claimed thunder force ripped off to begin with.

What a vicious chain of ripping, or is it just homages?

Yeah, Chop U and Let Ass Kick Together are covers of the first two songs on Cocobat's album Cocobat Crunch.

If I remember correctly, some of Namco's Famista games have music from various other Namco games like Sky Kid in it.

There's a PCB recording of it on Nico that I re-uploaded to Youtube.

These two soundtracks are so good.

The only one I heard before this thread was the G/MD Gomorrah soundtrack. And while RUINS sounds okay, and PROBLEM has that intro, overall it is a big letdown to the original.

Thanks trap btw.

Fire Barrel's stage clear music is lifted right from Contra, except for maybe the last few notes.

In King of Fighters '94, Jungle Bouncer (Brazil/Ikari Warriors stage BGM) uses the guitar track from Faith No More's "Surprise, You're Dead".
Kinect? KIN NOT.

I found one. The boss song from Battle of Olympus and a song from River City Rampage.
