PCB values....what's stuff worth?

Post by maxlords »

Ok, I keep an inventory of all my games for home insurance purposes. I've made up prices for my PCBs but I'm wondering what stuff is ACTUALLY worth. Here's what I've got......what're they worth (all working of course...)? I've just listed my shmups here, not my other PCBs:

1944 Loop Master (CPS2 Green B cart)
Aero Fighters (US PCB only)
Contra (US PCB w/marquee)
Gondomania (US PCB only)
Mars Matrix (CPS2 Green B cart)
Out Zone (US PSB w/marquee)
Truxton (US PCB, working)
Varth: Operation Thunderstorm (US PCB w/marquee)
Zero Wing (US PCB w/marquee)

If anyone can fill in approximate values for these, that would be great! :)

Thanks!

Here are my ballpark etimates:

1944 Loop Master (CPS2 Green B cart) - $75
Aero Fighters (US PCB only) - $40
Contra (US PCB w/marquee) - $50
Gondomania (US PCB only) - $35
Mars Matrix (CPS2 Green B cart) - $75
Out Zone (US PSB w/marquee) - $75
Truxton (US PCB, working) - $75
Varth: Operation Thunderstorm (US PCB w/marquee) - $75
Zero Wing (US PCB w/marquee) - $75

If you get a few people's opinions, just take an average and that should get you close.

It might also be good to email excellent or cosmic or somesuch place and get a pricelist. It'll probably be a little overpriced but it'll save you looking at a bunch of auctions and you have something that proves their worth to send to the insurance company as well should the need arise.

Those look fairly accurate undamned. I thought that Outzone was rarer than that though and went easily over the $100 mark?

I think Neon has the right idea, find out how much it would be to replace these boards from a supplier, as everyone here will have their own opinions as to what the real value of a game is.

Wordup, as you don't want to have to "hunt" for a good price, in the event that your boards are damaged/destroyed/stolen. You want to be able to take your ins. $, hop online, and get your games back.

1944 Loop Master (CPS2 Green B cart) - 2 quails eggs and a fist of peeled chestnuts
Gondomania (US PCB only) - hmm, wouldnt offer much for this personally. what is it?
Mars Matrix (CPS2 Green B cart) - double quart goats milk and a pocketful of dried whinberries
Out Zone (US PSB w/marquee) - 3 horseradishes
Truxton (US PCB, working) - stick of dry white wheat
Varth: Operation Thunderstorm (US PCB w/marquee) - half a goosegog pie
Zero Wing (US PCB w/marquee) - 2 oz salted horsemeat

If anyone can fill in approximate values for these, that would be great!
hope the above helps. bear in mind i live out of the city. oo-arrr

all values are approximated and would likely vary according to season/harvested crop weight/availibility of said goods

Anyone know the availability of the international version of Esprade and what price it goes for?
Feedback will set you free.

I've had a few different one's and they don't seem to be any different in price than the JAPAN ver.

Awesome... awesome to the max. I think that's going to be my next purchase as far as PCBs go.
