Did a writeup on four G.G Series games for 3DS, two of which (Assault Buster and Dark Spirits) are shmups. For $2 a pop, these are some of the absolute best shooters (and platformers) you can find on the 3DS, imo.

I wasn't happy with the game selection for the first article, because there were a lot of games that new players wouldn't have quick and easy access to. So I decided to remedy that by making a new list of available, inexpensive shooting games.

Some games that have deep scoring are a little bit janky otherwise, but Battle Garegga basically feels good to play even on a basic level.
