Does the Dreamcast arcade stick have real arcade parts?
I'm talking about the Green Goblin. The one with the green buttons.

My understanding is that no, they do not. Haven't used one myself but I did just order for pretty cheap. Hoping for the best... :/

It's pretty average, you can always install 'real' parts later but the mod is a bit annoying because the holes for the buttons are 28mm instead of 30mm, there's some grinding to do...

They are low quality parts that tend to stick... I modded mine by grinding the steel plate to accept 30mm buttons
but it's quite a hassle and I would suggest just getting some cheap madcatz stick or similar that's easier to mod...

Instead of grinding out the holes it may be easier to use a step bit with a drill. I have a 30mm bit coming that I may do a video walk through of it and post it up here.

I am by no means a stickler, but I personally love my DC arcade stick. My only other great one is my PS1 Namco fighting stick. I'm sure many people will say these are crap, but I adore them.

I had fellow shmupper oxtsu mod my green goblin Sega Agetech DC Arcade Stick to all Seimitsu parts -- thus turning it into a Japan-spec button layout (and it has a seperate transcoder box) for the DC controller input + further modded for a DB-15 setup for use with a Supergun setup (with Neo-Geo MVS controller inputs). The stock parts used in a plain-vanilla Agetech DC Arcade Stick are kinda similiar to Sanwa but are knock-offs indeed. It's quite an impressive arcade stick with the additional mods.

Grinding out the holes to 30mm wasn't too bad, just used a file with a curved edge and tried to go around it as evenly as possible, made much quicker progress than I thought. It's not too bad if it is a little uneven, as the button sleeves cover that up.
I originally started using a dremel, but that was more of a pain to be honest.
