Dreamcast converter. Help.

Post by Snucka »

Hello. I'm new the the forum. I've been searching for a relatively cheap way to play my dreamcast on my Samsung 1080p tv. I have a vga box for it I just want a scaler that won't cost me an arm and a leg. I'd like to have a iscan vp30 or a frameister I just can't see myself spending that much. What is a good scaler I could buy for less than 100 bucks. Preferably under 70 actually that would give me the least amount of lag. Would vga to component be a better option. Help.

VGA to component PLUS component to HDMI is good option for DC, but at $106 I would get that VP30.

If you can find a cheap VGA to component transcoder, then that's a solid alternative (component to HDMI is only $25), but transcoders are pretty rare these days and sometimes not cheap either.
