Xbox360 to Arcade - Super Emotia or uVc Ultracade ?

Hi all.

I have choice between Extron Super Emotia and uVc Ultracade for use Xbox360 (CAVE !) in Candy Cab (JVS and JAMMA).
For cables and adaptators i have all (BNC --> VGA, adaptator JAMMA for uVc).


What is the better choice ?
I search the solution with less "Input Lag" and i don't know if this downscaler product this lag ...


The candy cabs use with mounts:

* New Net City (15/24/31 kHz - video by VGA)

- Super Emotia --> 4xBNC to VGA --> New Net City (VGA)
- uVc Ultracade: don't use because i have a deformation on the screen



* Aero City (15/24 kHz - JAMMA)

- Super Emotia --> 4xBNC to Scart --> Scart2Jamma V2 --> Aero City (JAMMA)
Can i use directly Super Emotia to JAMMA (without Scart2Jamma) ?

- uVc Ultracade --> Adaptator JAMMA --> Aero City (JAMMA)


What is the better choice ?

Both are lag free. So is the Mimo Genius II. The iScan HD has 6ms of lag when used for down scaling.

The big advantage of the of the UVC is that is does support 384p output, which the Emotia doesn't. The Emotia will output consumer RGB levels, so you likely need an video amp (as in the Scart2Jamma adapter) to get enough contrast.

can't you fix that by adjusting the dips on the UVC ?

I would say UVC, because:

a) All the reasons Fudoh mentions
b) The size is more convenient, and you can power it with the cabinet's PSU.
