Was going to pm System11 or make a thread about it asking, but if I had to guess, I'd say that since everyone was tired of his shit, the mods took advantage of the fact that he was obviously an Estebang alt account and banned him for that.
I am curious if maybe there was a blowout or something that got deleted while I wasn't looking.
TBH I feel a bit bad for him. I think his problem was the corruptive Icycalm influence. Stuck thinking that his taste in video games is objective fact, and couldn't help but remind everyone at every opportunity.

Ah, he'll be back I'm sure. And when he is you'll spot him a mile away of course.drauch wrote:Pretas getting banned.
I don't know if I considered his commentaries toward independent game developers to be ban worthy, but certainly baseless, graceless and inflammatory. I think I found it more irritating that he constantly dropped factual anecdotes about company X's past and then would make a totally and completely unjustified prediction about the future of that company. Something like "I expect that their stock will crash in February 2017 after they merge with Sega Sammy Holdings".
After the repercussions I faced based on telling him to think before speaking (to paraphrase) I do feel some sense of personal justice.
I didn't see any event that justified a swift ban, but sometimes people's inflammatory posts get deleted at the same time the hammer strikes. I'm pretty sure the mods have known he's had four different accounts here over the years (even though none of the preceding accounts were banned - he just wanted to hide his identity after everyone got tired of listening to the nonsense mentioned above three times over).Squire Grooktook wrote:Was going to pm System11 or make a thread about it asking, but if I had to guess, I'd say that since everyone was tired of his shit, the mods took advantage of the fact that he was obviously an Estebang alt account and banned him for that.

British Pathé: Funny Or Die skits, 1960s style. Or is this a predecessor to Monty Python? Just look at these two:
Special Services Firemen (1960)
Fire Engine Mascot Aka Fire Mascot (1964)

Yeah, not entirely sure. Haven't been here much lately and just noticed it. Went back to investigate and didn't see anything right off the bat. I assumed it was just because every post was accusatory and toxic.Lord Satori wrote:^

Hmm I would have assumed Skykid frequently pissed off the French the most what with his crazy 'open your sealed games" campaign. Like, Skykid cmon, we dont actually want to PLAY the games, get a grip man !soprano1 wrote:voutespancar means iwillbeatyouup in Portuguese. So that user is either that or from Brasil.

Found this site earlier today while searching for an ost arrange album and I was annoyed at first, then I just couldn't help but be amused on this pathetic attempt to make money via offers. And what's with those random conspiracy links that don't even work?

Here's one way to cover a YMO tune. The man that is cornelius takes part as well in this short cover. Nicely done, but odd choice of sounds. Made me smile the 3 times I watched it in a row.

Discovering I can get unlimited phone and internet at 20Mbit per sec for 60 bucks on MetroPCS, versus paying Cox Comms and Cricket 77 dollars total for 5mbit and 2.5GB at 3G, respectively (was on a budget). Tether usage is irrelevant with tunneling software.

Don't hold grudges. GET EVEN.

I bumped into someone with a CAVE t-shirt at Bestival while rocking my Batrider shirt, I didn't get a chance to chat or even ask for a name as I was snaking my way through a crowd of very messy people at the time. Whoever you were, you were cool as fuck and I hope you enjoyed Underworld. Made my weekend.

Chicken Techno. Probably the greatest thing I've ever found on youtube. This is exactly the kind of thing that makes the internet an amazing place.

The sage observations of Cannon Dancer, or [can't recall his first username] mkII, on the trials of arcade Gun.Smoke:

But for serious HEY NUBS: you're faster and more agile* than enemies! Bait 'em upscreen, then double back around 'em and BLAOW! One at your back's worse than ten in front, keep your six clean rookie!
*think I'm talking hyperbolic bollocks? Thinkest thou I employ "fast" and "agile" tautologically?! Well you best step off motherfucker. (・`ω´・) Observe how Greys totter from one direction to the next and take advantage. Diagnose, counteract and eradicate. Do not beg for your life. PAY FOR IT.
