How to change an LS-58 spring with an LS-56 spring

Post by Shadolf »

I have two Seimitsu LS-58 sticks in my New Net City for some time now. As I bought the sticks I also bought LS-56 springs to change them with the LS-58 ones.
Now a few days ago I tried to change that springs. I realised that the LS-56 ones are way bigger (bigger diameter and longer/higher) and can´t just be swaped.
Has anyone here done an spring swap with an LS-58 before?

You probably got LS-55 or another type.

Just log in there and look at your order history.

Yeah, tried that, but can´t find/remember my account data.
I also can´t find any invoice abot the springs.
Maybe I bought the stuff from them at ebay.
That was about a half a year ago.

So you guys definatly are sure about, that the LS-56 spring fits into an LS-58 without need of any furtherr parts?!
In that case I could just buy another two of them at a german store. The price there is about 1€ for one, so that wouldn´t hurt.

There are pictures of the various springs here for comparison:

Maybe that'll help you identify it?

Thanks empatic! Sadly there is no LS-58 spring on the foto, for comparison.
But when I compare the LS-55 and LS-56, it really could be that I have the LS-55 instead the LS-56 ones.

I took out the spring from a broken LS-56 and placed it into the 58 with no problems. :)

Focus attack has 33, 55, 56, and 58 springs in stock. They all look more or less the same.
