So, I got tired of my regular Atari sticks and the TAC-2 which isn't as amazing as I had hoped. So now I want to build my own stick. I bought a Sanwa JLF, a Sanwa Button, a 4PDT switch and a Genesis extension cable.
My plan is to make a reversible arcade stick. Normal Atari controls have the stick on the right and the button on the left. Normal arcade controls are the opposite. I figure if I wire everything to a switch, I can invert the stick controls, and therefore allow for both configurations.
I'll post photos as the project moves along.
Has anyone else done a custom atari stick?

Re: Atari 2600 Arcade Stick
I made one a long time ago. Technically it's a Master System controller. It needs to be clamped down to stop it from sliding around, but other than that it does the job.
