Compendium of Shmup Soundtracks

Saving the best(?) for last, I've added Touhou as well as some really obscure stuff from Seta and Allumer. I forgot how catchy all the Touhou tracks are. Seta reminds me a lot of Toaplan in that they have interesting composition but absolutely terrible sound quality =P. Just listen to that awesome power metal track from Meta Fox, haha.

This will probably be the last major update/bump to the list, as I can't think of too much else to add unless I decide to add a remix/arranged section to the compendium. It's mostly just maintenance and keeping the list current from here. As always, bug me if I've missed stuff.

Hey Blackbird, I apologize for not having the soundtracks I mentioned uploaded earlier. It's just that I've been busy with school, and I have been more lazy than usual, recovering from a surgery I had recently. I'll try to get them uploaded soon. Hey everyone. Just updated this list to fix a truckton of broken links and add more recent games to the list. Everything should be working now. We lost a lot of OSTs to the ravages of copyright takedowns, but on the upside I was also able to find new uploads of some of the more obscure games/versions that I was unable to find before. Cheers folks!
