Anything by Artesneit probably count. They take the H.R Giger style and push it beyond what Giger's paintings considered kosher in terms of blatant sexual imagery and gore/gross out material. Some fun games in there (particularly Yakouga 4) but definitely not safe for work.

Speaking of H. R. Giger: Dragon Saber borrows quite a few iconic creatures/images from the Alien movies, including face huggers and the pithy Alien cranial shape. Game's not too dark on the whole, but it has a couple of fairly eerie stages.

Anal Dansyaku became Galshell 2: Bullet Rain, from my understanding. Galshell 2: Bullet Rain subsequently simply became Galshell 2, which has been on development hiatus for years.

Psyche Metal is by The Dark Hell Company, which is what Astro Port used to call themselves.

XOP Ultra and XOP Black Ultra have some levels that are creepy and surreal.

Hellsinker, while not exactly creepy, definitely gets more and more surreal as the game goes on.

If you like R-Type you'll probably like the Gradius games. They both have similar biological themes.

Akashicverse is definitely surreal. I wouldn't exactly call it creepy, but it's definitely surreal, and has amazing and trippy backgrounds throughout the entire game.

ふつう - Normal
すこああたっく - Score Attack

The porn switch is in the configuration screen (こんふぃぐ) which is the third option down on the title screen. If you're playing the all-ages version of the game, then the option isn't even there.

Ah, thank you. My game came with all characters unlocked, so I guess it just doesn't have a hard mode.
