Groovymame setup powered through jamma edge?
Is it possible to build a compact groovymame setup that operates without an extra 220v input and is powered only though the power on the jamma edge connector? I could have sworn i saw some people with that setup but my search capabilitis are failing me at the moment
If so, any tips on what hardware to use that's suitable for this job?

I assume your groovy setup is a regular PC. In that case, you have to address two challenges:
- voltage: the jamma edge provides 5 and 12 volts but you motherboard requires 5, 12 and 3.3.
- amps: The amps raiting of a regular jamma power supply is very low to drive a regular PC.

If your arcade PSU is strong enough, and your PC is weak enough, you can get a PICOPSU unit. These only require a 12V connection.
