A holy crap day at the flea market, just read

Post by Fighter17 »

I almost piss in my boxers about the prices of the five Sega CD games that I purchase today:

Sega CD games (all complete):

Sonic CD: $6.85
Ecco The Dolphin: $1.85
Android Assault - The Revenge of Bari-Arm: $1.85
Dark Wizard: $8.85
Heart of the Alien - Out Of This World Part I and II: $6.85

I figured that Andriod Assault would cost more, but I was wrong. What really shock me was the prices I got on Dark Wizard and Heart of the Alien. I herd both games were really freaking good, but that's all I know. I'm not a fan of RPGs, but I know Dark Wizard is very rare, and same for Heart of the Alien. I'm not the biggest fan of these games (Heart of the Alien is like Flashback, and Dark Wizard is a RPG), but for people who played them before, do you think these games rock?

Ah I typed enough, let me get back to Android Asault. ;)

That's an awesome price for that game. I've played it in the past, and I remember liking it alot. Congrats on your finds. :)

I need to get to the flea market as well. That's where I bought my M.U.S.H.A. (complete) for $6. You never know what you may come across.

I got MUSHA from here complete for $10. ;)

In the flea market, they had Lords of Thunder for $12 complete. I turn it down because one the game cost a little too much, and two I hated the Sega CD port of the game a lot. I perfer the Duo version of it.

Dark Wizard is a turn-based strategic combat RPG for the Sega CD. Famous for its deep gameplay, and sound. Graphics wasn't the best, but the gameplay is where it counts. Consider the holy grail in Strategy RPGs by many people. I just play this game today, and my goodness this game is so fucking deep in gameplay. This game will take you hours, hours, and hours of your life! Today this game is a hot item on eBay, with auctions usually go over $20 and sometimes even $50! So yeah, it's rare for a purpose.

Graphics were not the best, but the gameplay shines like hell.

Go ahead, buy it. ;)

Yeah, the Duo version is superior. That's just common sense. If it were the Duo version going for only $12 complete, that would be too good to be true, and something to really brag about.

Not interested. That's how it works. I don't need another super long timeeater in my life. I've only ever played about six or seven RPGs. It took me a year and a half to beat Ogre Battle 64. I'm looking at those screenshots and I'm not nostalgic. I don't like the style of the characters, I don't much like the map graphics, I don't like the battlefield graphics, I don't like the battle graphics and I do have a Sega CD so I can tell you right now that I don't like the loading time. I don't need to go hands-on to figure out that I don't need to spend the time or bread on it. I also have countless unplayed RPGs and strategy games for every system known to man sitting on my shelf of games for when I'm too old and feeble to do anything but spend a hundred hours on a videogame. Until then I'll be doing other stuff and playing action games.

Anyways, I do appreciate your efforts.
