few questions about the xrgb mini
so i finally manned up and bought one second hand on ebay
upon looking around and researching this device i found out some interesting stuff i have questions about
1) does the unit # matter? i notice that on amazon and ebay people post the unit number alot
2) where can i find a USA AC adapter for this? i read that it comes with a japanese outlet ac adapter
3) is there anywhere else besides solaris that i can find a component to d-terminal adapter? (cannot find any results on amazon or ebay)

1. Not familiar with unit numbers, but there have been revisions of the package and what's included.KabuTheFox wrote:so i finally manned up and bought one second hand on ebay

2. http://www.amazon.com/VM1898-Universal- ... 000NNFECS/ - You can technically use the included adapter with US outlets, I use it in my experience with no problems. Up to you.
3. It's a Japanese standard, you're not going to find it easily on Amazon or Ebay. Solaris would be your best bet. Alternatively, you could just a basic D-Terminal cable and get RCA female to female connectors. That could work I would think.
Edit: Realized the one I linked was for another device I use and doesn't have the amps necessary for the XRGB mini. Link updated with the right one.

New Framemeisters coming from Solaris come with an Adapter rated for 100-240V, so you can use them worldwide.KabuTheFox wrote:1) thankseightbitminiboss wrote:1. It's no big deal to just order the adapter from Solaris. That's where I got mine.KabuTheFox wrote:

You may or may not get the 100-240V AC adapter Grimakis mentioned because you bought it used. That adapter is packed into newer units.KabuTheFox wrote: what ? lol

Re: few questions about the xrgb mini
you dont need an international plug. japan use the same 2 prong plug the USA uses. It is the plug without the extra ground prong.KabuTheFox wrote:oh gotcha, if thats the case ill just run down to walmart and pick up an international plug thingeightbitminiboss wrote:You may or may not get the 100-240V AC adapter Grimakis mentioned because you bought it used. Re: few questions about the xrgb mini
At least confirm what AC adapter it came with so you know what you need rather than wasting money.

Updated the link in my first post, realized I pulled the wrong bookmark. That greenish one I use for something else.
