Your Scart cable has the wrong direction. That's a Scart to BNC cable, not a BNC to Scart one. If you want to use this along with a male/male cable, you need to swap the pin of the sync connection (inside the female scart header, from 20 to 19).

Also your TV might require a switching voltage on pin 16. This can be solved using a battery.

EDIT: and if you want to use audio on that adapter, those pins need to be swapped as well...

you don't have to buy something else. Just find somebody that can re-solder that sync pin into the right position

Just open the female scart header and have a look. Google for a valid scart pinout and you'll easily see what's wrong.

19 and 20 are both used for sync, but the direction is different. On a female connector 19 is the sync output (right for you), 20 is the input (wrong for you).

Thanks but if I can avoid buying more equipment and better not spend money

The female scart this tightly closed and do not want to break ,..
the male scart cable male in the end to be connected with the female Cut 19 and 20 and cross each other

Image
The outline of the photo is really correct? Would only exchange the pin 20 pin 19

I have two questions for now .... additional voltage pin 16 would be putting a 180 ohm resistor and placing a voltage of +5 volts.
1: My question is how you do it to put 5 volts? I have no idea can show me an outline or even better a photo.
2: Fudoh the x2vga of neoya has line input for sound've told me that if I want audio must change the pin, and can make the sound of the input line x2vga xbox from the speakers of the television and heard crt?

really depends on what your power source is. To get the TV to switch from Video to RGB you need a voltage between 1 and 3V on Pin 16. If you use an AAA battery you don't need any additional components (battery + pin to pin 16, - pin to ground).

Some TVs can be switched to RGB manually. Many Sonys. I don't know your Philips TV set.

your BNC to Scart adapter has audio connections, right ? These are currently wired to pins 1 and 3 of the scart connector which is wrong. If you want to input audio from your NeoYa into the BNC/Scart adapter, you need to change the pins to 2 and 6 instead.

Usually all cables with female connectors have this direction (from Scart to BNC).

Retrogamingcables has another one (male + direction of your choice), but it's not cheap and not very long:
https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/son ... rter-cable

Do you have trouble to find somebody to fix the cable for you ? What's so hard about that ?

Fudoh thanks .. and forgive the inconvenience basically I have never soldier but I have a family that will do it if and but I want to be clear about all the steps ... just buy this cable for 25 € shipping included because it came with sCART connector male came up to € 45 incl ... let us try and if I have questions for you that madness and I thank you.
by the way:
1- that cable you have put me male and automatically switches to rgb? Pin 16 and occurs between 1 and 3 volts?

2- If then I put a female to male extension official without changing anything else?
we will try to change that we have but if we had a problem this cable you tell me I would be worth without making any modficacion more ..?

no, it does not. But the problem here is the Emotia. No machine with BNC RGB output provides the switching voltage...
2- If then I put a female to male extension official without changing anything else?
will be fine.

if you want to put money into this, then maybe you should buy the UMSA instead. It's easier for you to use and it solves your problem with the switching voltage as well.

Emotia > BNC to HD15 > UMSA > Scart/Scart > TV.

with all the trouble you have taken'll try to see if I get it! In short: in the male scart cable swap pins 19 and 20, the pin 16 give between 1 and 3 volts to activate rgb and exchange pins 1 to 2 and 3 to 6
assuming the colors of my drawing (me I have invented) would look like it?

looking good.

But remember: if you do these mods to your male/male scart cable instead of the female adapter cable, you won't be able to use your male/male cable on any other setup and it will only work in one direction.

For the power supply: + to pin 16, - to ground, for example pin 18 of the scart connector.

understood, makes modifications in the male scart only be worth me for scart bnc, as I do to get the Emotia in a recreational machine macho male scart cable fixed to stay there forever.
if it decided to make a modification in the process scart female bnc I put you in the picture it is equally valid?

yes, it's just the other way around, e.g. sync before = 20, sync after = 19.

I'll do with scart male to go to practice and if I do well it modifies the female ... Fudoh if I've understood my male scart drawing with pins is just as valid for the female scart? or not? would have to change something?

still valid. Exchange the sync and exchage the audio. The difference is that your male cable has both sets wired right now, while the female adapter only has the inputs wired right now (and you have to wire the outputs instead).

Should be fine through a 75 ohm resistor.

Fudoh finally Tomorrow afternoon we will do tests to see if the pair can resolder correct cables on the charger 3.7v told me to put a resistor of 75ohm but I have several chargers 5v. If I use 5v need a resistance of 100ohm or 180ohm? It is the only question, thank you and the results will comment tomorrow

Welds made by changing the pins 1-2 and 3-6 and 19-20 and the pin 16 5v we take a mobile charger and a resistance of 100 ohm , test a small crt tv mx wave and if it appears that the screen switches to rgb but shows no sign in black screen.... another day again proves that he has not been able to go wrong :(

since you have a GX unit, try this:

remove the power supply (or just don't plug it in) for the scart switching. Plug the scart connector into your TV (using a male/male extension if you have to). Remove all four BNC cables. Connect the YELLOW BNC cable to the G/Y BNC port. Toggle the R-Y/B-Y/RGBs switch, so R-Y/B-Y is selected.

This way your Emotia does output component video. G/Y is Luma, which should give you a perfect black/white image when you select the Scart port on your TV (but it's still set to composite). This has to work 100%. If you don't get a picture, then either the Emotia is bad or you mixed up the pins in the Scart cable. (Yellow connects to FEMALE Pin 19. A male/male Scart cable will then take the signal from pin 19 and send it to MALE Pin 20 on the other end).

This way you can confirm that the RGB/YUV output on the Emotia is working fine.
