I have an snes Gpm-02 that has a very quiet left sound channel.
It also had poor quality sound so i replaced all the caps in it and it sounds much better now, But it still only has 1 sound channel working right.
any ideas what would cause this?
Edit: Nevermind. I scraped the multiout pins good, and the sound channel started working again.
Edit: No, it didnt. I still have the problem. I had plugged in the right channel then walked away from it for a while and forgot i did that.
I still need to know what else would cause this.
does anyone know where theres schematics for Non-Shvc snes' ? the only ones ive seen out there are for the shvc.
Id like to know where the sound channels should connect to from the multiout pins to what.

Re: Snes sound problem
Hey just following up with you on this - did you straight up replace the bad dac to find that it was the problem or did you diagnose it some other way?

Yeah, With a small amplified speaker and a test probe, You can "listen" to the analog parts of the circuit, right at the outputs on the chip.
In my case, the left output on the dac had no sound coming out of it.
