SG Mega Star Pro decent?

Post by Spyke »

Hi,

I've been looking around at options for a decent microswitched stick for the Mega Drive.
Can anyone tell me if the SG Mega Star Pro is a decent performer?

Thanks,

Ant

Never even heard of that thing before. Why not get a PS1/PS2 stick and use an adapter?

Depending upon budget and skills, you could always just modify a suitable stick and either build your own multiplexer circuit or pad hack from other controller?

Alternatively, you could use one of undamned's USB Decoders and interface that to a pad hack or the circuit above and be good to go that way (assemble your own USB to Genesis adapter).

It's ok, I won a brand new boxed Japanese Sega Arcade Stick "Tank" on ebay for a reasonable price, so that should keep me happy.
