US PSone in Europe

Post by bacardi »

Hi Guys,
I have a NTSC version of the console lying around but I never used it, I do have a European external power supply here as well, will using the European PSU on the US console work fine? I don't want to fry it ;) Thanks!;)

Do you have both power supplies? I bet they list the same output voltage and polarity. If so you will be fine.

I have a powered js960 scart switch that came from the UK. It came with a uk power supply.

All i did was get a U.S. power supply that has the same voltage and amp rating on the output and it works great.

you could do the same thing for your Psone.

Also, I hear that most newer European tvs can already display 60hz.

Here, our tvs wont work with PAL.
