we also knew what a Superfamicom was back then because the US nintendo power ran a special on it.
and then they announced the Re-design.
I remember some people being upset that they redesigned it because for a short while people were looking forward to getting a SuperFamicom.
Heh.
Btw, in those days, I never noticed that the Industrial Area was missing from the Snes Final fight because i had never gotten that far in the arcade! But i noticed that Guy was missing right away.
also, I was on the preorder list for the snes. I got one on release day.
Ive never seen as good of a launch game lineup than what the snes had.
Castlevania IV, Final Fight, Gradius 3, Super Mario world, Actraiser, Sim City, Fzero and mabeye 1 or 2 more.
Final fight, Castlevania, and Actraiser sold a LOT of Snes consoles.
Oh right - what does this post have to do with the Genesis? Nothing actually. It has everything to do with what i remember about gaming from back in the day.
Question for Genesis gamers back in the day
