Ah! Well, that makes me feel better... :)

(I meant to say this a month ago, of course. Thank you.)

Now having finally beaten it (after simply surviving long enough for it to become bored with me, a couple of times), I have to agree! The boss in the... "sky base" level? It does seem almost like a sub-boss in comparison...

So. I've been busy with Trizeal for a while, but I play this whenever my TV's in YOKO orientation. I have to remember to stop playing these games when I start to perform badly, because I simply popped the game in for the fun of it, in the middle of the day, totally casual-like, and made it farther than I ever have. I also have my first red number! :D

1355514358830 - Isha - Stage 3 (DC)

I made it to the boss! It seems that I could definitely stand to work on scoring a bit, though.

Nice score, Icepick. So you have kept your promise about the red numbers. ;)

I think if you play the game just for fun you often get good scores. If a game is starting to annoy me too much I better quit playing it for today. Otherwise I may end up smashing something... ^^

Uhm, to that casual player / pro gamer stuff. Games are made to play for fun and not to prove something. Some people get that idea wrong, I really hate that kind of people. I am not saying that I don't like people playing a game really hardcore, no I really like these for beeing so ambitous. I only hate those people that are flaming others for beeing non-hardcore players and talking down on them like they are all "noobs".
Thank godnees in shmups.com people don't talk such trash but in many other communities, esspecially fighting games they do. Sorry, guess I got a bit carried away...

MAME-

crithit5000 - 7781014816540 - Ruby - Stage 5

Could of possibly made it to Stage 6, but I screwed up the 1up. I might have to give the DC version a go...if I could find it.

I still don't understand all about the 1up. Anyone know for sure when it appears??
I have to destroy the crystals/stones around the big one first and then go for the one in the center. So far I understood it...

But sometimes there is a 1up and sometimes I get that huge crystals bonus items whith that +100 Medals (+50?) in it.

I'm not sure if this is right, but I do remember someone saying that the 1-Up won't appear unless you've lost a life (or two?). So if you haven't died up to that point, you'll only get the crystals. Sounds right to me, I can't remember ever getting that 1-Up on my first life...

20'1117'2833'0540 Raijin / Stage 6 (Mame)

Haven't played for awhile... but after some tries I got the feeling back and improved my highscore.

Hmmm... I am still not sure about the 1up. One time I had lost a life but the 1up didn't appear.

But I Also didn't get the 1up when I had all my life, so that part is propably true.

EDIT:
Ah I see, I must have lost two lifes.

Hello everybody!

I started today play Gigawing and my score at the moment is 1.4098.9795.7680 at stage 4 with Raijin.
Can I play with autofire?

This is a very nice game! :)

Oh, I play CPS2 Japanese version on MAME. :)

Welcome to the forums, JCK. :)

This game is indeed great, even if it does not look so beautyful like some Cave games. The scoring system is pretty motivating.

What do you mean with Autofire? I think you should have problems with using the reflect Force, cause you can only use it when holding down the fire button. But if you know a function to use two different buttons for that.I guess it wouldn't matter anyway.

Because if you push the fire button only one time per second or push it rapidly won't affect your fire rate. It's automatically at maximum, so you don't have to push like a beserker.

Besides impressive score, for just one day!

Say JCK, you record your replays with Mame?

Hi Edge

I setup a custom button binded with button 1 and I activate autofire on that one. I ask this because on www.aiva.emuita.it (italian scoreboard - take a look! :) ) we have two different scoreboard for autofire and "humanfire" :)

I use to record sometimes. I will send a inp when I'll be able to always repeat a good score:)

Not sure if this thread's even being updated anymore, but for some odd reason lately I've had the urge to play this thing...and I said to myself, "BM, you know what, you have yet to defile a Takumi HS thread with one of your pathetic offerings." One thing led to another, and...

BulletMagnet - 5,4085,6317,5020 - Stuck - Stage 5 (DC Version)

Stand in awe of my inability to reflect capably, heh.

sorry for the update delay, everything should be done for the moment. I don´t see the need for a separate autofire list, because like Edge mentioned, it doesn´t really give an advantage in this game.

I hate double posting (even after a couple of days), but I finally have gotten a second red number-

crithit5000 - 10808710794790 - Ruby - 5 - MAME

I made it to stage 5 without losing a life (yeah, the rank system hates me), then proceeded to lose them all in a short span of time. The last one I lost not too long after the stranger...damn rank is insane, I have made it to stage 5's boss before...>sighs<...

EDIT-

Sword - 8'6187'5364'1520 - Isha - 5 - MAME

For some reason i get my best scores when i die stupidly in stage 2 or something. I think the rank system hates me.
