In the menu on the TV, I do not get the option of picture or sound ... what do I have to do ?, you can unlock the TV ?, I have to open the chassis to access the service menu, but here I can not unlock the option of color, contrast and brightness ...

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I reached the service menu on my MX 6000 by pressing the following when it was in TV mode: Menu -> 1 -> 1 -> GO.

No, to access the service menu I have to remove the chassis with a screwdriver and touch the Service menu, then I get the service menu screen, the combination with the remote control does not work ...

To me what I would like to know, is that I have the option of picture or sound in the normal menu ... and another thing, when I put a game more 2D noticed a defect in the image, it is as if the right side were narrower, like a "fish eye" effect when the camera moves:

Can be set in the service menu ?, I can enlarge, move, etc .. but the right side is still more crushed

What remote do you have?

If you have one of the ugly ones with a display then you need to enter V.Setup on the remote. You can achieve this by pressing List several times until it shows up, then Go, and then List again until Picture or sound is displayed. Remember to store your settings when done.

If V.Setup can't be found on your remote, then you need to add that option to the list first. You do this by pressing Power and List at the same time.

I asked our technician at work, who has many years of experience with repairing Bang and Olufsen TVs. All credit must go to him. I don't know much about these TVs, and to be honest I find their remotes and menu structures downright retarded :p

As for the geometry adjustment, he seemed to remember those being in the service menu, but he wasn't sure.

Hope this helps :)

I'm not sure I understand you.

The geometry issues are very normal on CRT screens. And I'm not surprised to seem them on your screen at all. It's possible that you can correct this somewhere in the service menu, but as I said our technician wasn't sure how.

Yeah, they are mighty slim units. I doubt you'd be able to get the linearity too much better. The physical angles at play really are not on it's/your side.
