It turns out that Yagawa has more secrets up his sleeve

This is the normal version of Muchi Muchi Pork



However is you activate debug mode and hold down A+B upon power-up you will get the actual program version:



To activate debug mode, move the S2 (DIL SWITCH) SW2 to the left like this:



So please can everyone check their PCBs for the actual program version and post the results in this thread ?

It is rumored that there exists a: 2007/ 4/17 MASTER VER.. (2 dots) , this version is shown on normal boot-up.

If we have anybody here on shmups who owns an MMP PCB with a serial in the range: MP-60001 - MP-60009 could you please check your version ?

it'll be good also to look at special TEST MODE (hold A+B before pressing test), its shown in bottom of screen like
'07/ 4/17 ver.

in any way, I recommend to look at this special test mode, there are interesting features, like in Ibara

You need to check the debug version line with the 24 hour time/date. Because Yagawa.

Spoke to a friend of mind and he told me that sometimes the Muchi Muchi Pork PCB will crash on level 4 when there is a lot of activity. This happens around 5% of the times you play it. Supposedly there was a fix released for it.

I can confirm that I've experienced this crash, but I'm not sure if it was using my current board. I think I have had 6 of them. I'll check my Pcb soon.

That's not the right place to check. That date will be the same on all boards. You have to check the hidden spot with the time stamp.
