Squarelands

Hey guys,

Squarelands is a silly sandbox/bullet hell game, mainly inspired by Realm of The Mad God and Terraria. I'm not totally sure if this qualifies as a shoot 'em up game (probably not), but I think the bullet hell aspect fits well.

I need mostly help in making bullet patterns. So far I suceeded in making four of most simple. You can see three of them in the video below: Random bullets (Cube God), spiral bullets (Giant Worm) and an aimed angled attack (Dragons).

I searched the forums and now I'm taking a look at some bullet patterns threads to understand them, but still any resource you guys can direct me to is much appreciated.

as in
"ripped off"?
I mean.. you just literally stole the character sprites along with lots of other stuff?
Urgh, dude.

I wouldn't count this as a shmup at all though, not even bullet hell.

Many of the sprites in RotMG are free, dude.

They were made by a user called Oryx. (who the main boss of RotMG is named after)

This game is a roguelike.

It's not a shooter at all - let alone a bullet-hell. This thread should be moved to off-topic.

That said, I don't really think this qualifies either.
