EDIT: Shortly after I posted this, I was able to get my TV back to working order. I fixed the distortion issue as well.
I found the TV on Craigslist along with a BKM-10R and a PVM-1354Q. The Monitor has a slight convergence problem and another problem I just accidentally caused, which I will explain in a minute.
The red convergence is slightly tilted vertically in a way that when the right side has perfect convergence, the red goes progressively downward from the other pixels to the point where it's about 3/4 of a scanline lower than the green and blue when I'm playing FFIV (PS1 port, in case you're wondering). This is really only noticeable when there's a bright object (such as the text box borders in FFIV) and the game has scanlines. I can't find a setting that fixes this, can someone help me?
Also, I noticed there is a slight inward distortion along a vertical line on the right side of the screen, but it's only noticeable when the the screen is panning horizontally and I'm looking closely. Regardless, I went into the settings and tried adjusting the H LIN to get rid of the problem. Due to it being hardly noticeable, I couldn't really see what I was doing. I noticed increasing the H SIZE to the maximum value made the distortion really noticable (and that there's actually pincushion distortion across the entire screen), so I set it at that to see what I was doing and fix the distortion. A few seconds after I set it at that, the screen turned off. Now whenever I turn on the TV, the Over Load light is blinking. How do I fix this?

This exact problem has been showing up in my PVM too lately, I guess it's capacitor related and I'm planning a full recap sometime in the future.atheistgod1999 wrote:The red convergence is slightly tilted vertically in a way that when the right side has perfect convergence, the red goes progressively downward from the other pixels to the point where it's about 3/4 of a scanline lower than the green and blue when I'm playing FFIV (PS1 port, in case you're wondering). If there's any way to fix it meanwhile I'll be all for it

Assuming 10-20k or even a lot more hours on some of these monitors a recap certainly makes sense. Wish I had the skills to do it on my monitors though, it's a hell of a job.

I'm just afraid of properly discharging the tube and the flyback transformer. Those are dangerous things and you could seriously harm yourself.
Once you've properly discharged tube and flyback transformer you're good to go, kinda hard to mess up replacing caps

I've just purchased Sony BVM, I have minor convergence issue
Convergence: the red channel seems to shifted downward vertically regardless how much I tweak in the alignment menu. Can you please let me know how you resolve your issue?
