Hello,
I'm trying to lock down on a "definitive" RGB mod that can be applied to both a white PC Engine and a Core Grafx I/II.
Assuming I'm using the EXP connector at the back with a custom board, here is what I'm trying to figure out:
Do they output the exact same signal? If I test it on a PC Engine can I assume it will work exactly the same on a Core Grafx?
The reason I'm asking is that I see a lot of conflicting opinions, some say on of them doesn't output CSYNC and some say the strength of the R-G-B signals is different.
What do you guys think?
PS - assume I will be using both an XRGB Mini and an RGB CRT TV.
Thank you all.

Should be exactly the same.
All of the PCE output csync too.

Alternatively, you can just purchase one of those scart rgb cables with built-in amp and encoder that plugs into said external or extension bus/socket. Bought one few months ago in eBay from a guy based in Sweden and got to test it few weeks ago. My PC Engine games never looked this good! Games look sharper and have more vibrant colors.

No good if you want to use a CD unit in future though.
I have this circuit in my Duo R, N64 and SNES Mini (changed 75ohm on the output for 100ohm though) and it looks incredible.
