Arcsy's DBZ Extreme Butoden Trailer
Looks decent, hope it's not as broken as the rest of the dbz games.

Seems like KOF XII/XIII's sprite artists may have worked on this, the style is much closer to those games than GG/BB.

Yeah, I mean, come on. Everyone knows that in DBZ only one guy fights the other while everyone else just stands around mentally pissing their pants. (Admittedly, it is kinda hard to just join in on a fight involving rapid teleportation and laser beam attacks...)

In real news ( :D ), he just wrecked some fools at Norcal Regionals. It sorta goes in cycles. Daigo cleans house, loses a few tournies, people say he's washed up, repeat.

The thing about the tournament format is that they just don't play enough matches to determine who the best player really is imo. In a game that's as popular as SF4, there are a lot of people who can compete at the highest level, so it's not unusual for there to be some 'upsets' in a best of three series. But obviously it's not possible to do any more than that when you've got several hundred players entering each one of these tournaments.

But yeah, Daigo was playing incredibly well at NCR. I really like how he stuck to the basic E.Ryu tactics until he was only one round away from getting knocked into loser's bracket. Then he started showing some of the tricky stuff he had been holding onto and completely wrecked his opponent.

I understand what you are saying, but even when you watch first-to-10 or first-to-20 matches between two players (you can find videos of top JP players doing this), it's still hard to say sometimes who the better player is. And then throw in that one of them might have been a bit tired that day or stressed from work or whatever. Sure that's likely a more accurate assessment than a best of 3 or best of 5 match, but my point is that it's not going to be definitive.

That's good news. At least it isn't Byking or Squeenix themselves.

Just so long as we don't have to endure a flashback sequence where Terra gives a suddenly-defining "thumbs down" to Emperor Gestahl.

Looks nice and all, but I would have loved if they made it for a non-portable console, or arcade. Maybe they could have done a more similar game to Hokuto no Ken on arcade/PS2. As it is, it's a waste of sprite resources.

Saw this from Aquas retweeting Ryan Hart: It looks like Super Santarou Man (Sagat) is going to be facing Luffy (Rose) in a $10,000 USF4 money match at Stunfest. Source: https://twitter.com/supersatarou/status ... 2837880832

Hopefully it gets streamed.

That DBZ game is fucking gorgeous.

It's a shame it's being squandered on the 3DS.

The only positive thing I can think about it being on the 3DS is download play.
With the Vita... you sort of need multiple game cards which suck for you and your friends who want to do local play.

That's just a gag video made by one of the members of the FF14 team, it was shown at a FF14 event in Japan recently. Would be neat though, but I doubt SE would be doing a 14-only fighting game when the new Dissidia is coming out as well :P

could actually be neat if it was real
It actually did look like an actual game for a while.

I laughed like an idiot when the one move just sent her in the sky with the clock still running for ages.
