Game Boy Guru project - updated 4-9-15

A bit of shameless self-promotion here. I've started a project I'm calling Game Boy Guru, and am going to attempt to collect, play, and review every North American Game Boy release. I have a blog started, with companion accounts on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and Google+ where I'll be posting various things and discussing with users. I've done an introductory write-up on my history with the system, and have a couple reviews posted, with currently 3 or 4 in the works. I'd like some feedback, as my reviews and writings can be somewhat verbose, so if my stuff is too long-winded, I'd appreciate some suggestions as to how to make things more concise.

SIDE NOTE: I may be tapping some of you in the trading section to see about helping me acquire some of the GB shmups, particularly a couple of the Japanese exclusives like Sagaia. I'm doing all of this on a budget, and don't fancy spending boatloads of money on some of the more rare pieces if I can find a way to help it

Thanks! I'm focusing primarily on NA releases, but I have obtained a couple Japanese releases, like Mega Man 2, Kirby's Pinball Land, and Outburst, the Japanese version of Raging Fighter, so I plan on doing some comparisons to denote what changes (if any) exist between the 2 versions. I'd also like to eventually get some good Japanese and European exclusives, such as Ghostbusters 2, which only came out in Europe. But since I'm from North America, I'm going to concentrate on games that would have been readily available to me during the system's lifespan. My interest in shmups will fuel some of the crossover, however

No, GameBoy World is another project. Great site, and a great resource of information with very informative and insightful articles. I highly recommend that site as a great place for GameBoy information, as well as the GameBoyle YouTube channel, as he does a great job covering GB games as well. I'm a bit late to the game, compared to these sites, but I took on the project for fun, and have been having fun collecting and playing games. I'm trying to knock out the other launch titles first, and then I'll move into other games in a less specific order.
