I watched it sometime in the 80's IIRC. Can't say 100% if it was a movie or a TV series. Only thing I can recall is that the main character broke in to some place where the playing cards were made for casinos and marked the printing plates to be able to tell the cards.
Anyone have an idea about the name of the movie/TV show?
Thanks

Could I take over this thread for a moment? I had a question I wanted to ask, hoping if anyone could help me track down a particular video game ost track.

The uploader told me a year or two ago, but I forgot and the video I favorited got taken down, ha ha. And for some reason I can't view his comments anymore (I think it's because he's a psychotic troll and seems to have gotten all of his comments on Youtube before a certain date deleted).
All I remember is that it's from some sort of racing/driving game, I think.

I renamed the thread to "The help me identify anything but a shmup thread". In case we already have one I'll re-rename it. If not then feel free to post your lost memories here
It's a vampire movie from perhaps the 50's or 60's.
Couple of things I remember.
1. The main character is a young doctor-type who visits dracula's castle
2. Igor is in this film. He's a hunchback and mentions something about foam being caught in his throat when he speaks
3. One scene shows Igor serving the doctor a breakfast of tea and toast
I can't for the life of me figure out the title of this movie. The language is definitely English. I don't believe it's "Castle of the Walking Dead" or any of the more common movies. Saw this on a movie channel (cinemax or HBO, I don't remember) but that's basically all I can remember.

It's a little later (1974), but could it be Young Frankenstien? Despite the year it came out, it's entierly in black and white.
Edit: nm. I missed Dracula's Castle and vampire movie. While not a vampire movie, there is a scene in Son of Frankenstien where Ygor says something about a bone stuck in his throat.

Sounds like Roman Polanski's "Dance of the Vampires". Was apparently called "The Fearless Vampire Killers" in the US.
I've been searching for two animated movies from the 80ies. Well, I watched them in the 80ies, maybe they are older.
One is about ancient China and people that can transform into foxes with lot's of Kung Fu fighting going on. At the end there's a big fire at a temple.
The other one is about a little whale that gets separated from his family while they have to dive under an oil slick. The kid can't hold his breath long enough and has to swim back only to realize the other whales have moved on and the rest of the film it is trying to get to the north pole on his own where he hopes to find the others again.
Any clues?

I saw this movie when I was a kid. I might have been a dream or something I can't remember for sure. But all I remember about it was this group of people walking into a fancy old haunted mansion and then hundreds of arms popped out of the walls. Did I just imagine that, or is it an actual movie? I probably saw the movie sometime around 1988 or 89.

There's a scene like that in Polanski's Repulsion, but it happens in a flat. Also the start of Day of the Dead has something similar, but again no haunted mansion.

Those aren't it. Thanks, though. I remember it being in color and having the 80's kind of look to it. I probably just imagined it. I've searched for it for hours and hours online before to no avail.

Does anybody know what the chirping bird sample with the synth is at the beginning of this 808 State song is from? Or is it the original? I think it's pretty cool, and I would like to hear what it was sampled from.

I've been trying to remember some PS1 racing game (I think it was of the "kart racer" variety) where one of the selectable characters ran on foot rather than being in a car. Does it sound familiar to anybody here? I saw a friend play it, like, once about 12 or more years ago I guess. For all I can remember, it may not have even been a PS1 game.
