Those were some pretty nice rolls Hermit.
The gold keeper is actually a good light monster before you use it for evo.

5 rolls so far:

Devilit
Dragon Fruit
2 Divine Masks
1 Demon Mask

I now have two Devilits sitting in my box, maybe my Dark Kali will need them if she ever gets an ultimate evolution.

Strangest things happen today : I cant access special dungeon, the first normal dungeon I played did not decrease my stamina bar, the second one emptied it !
Now I cant play.

Rolled twice for this new godfest.

Rolled a fairlion and a grim crystal. For whatever reason the grim crystal had a gold egg.

You Hermit are just the most Gungtrolled guy ever.

I was not really decided to roll this fest, but decided to roll once for the fun. Got Red Odin ! The perfect leader for my red team that lacks some power.

Damn cave hermit, my condolences. For whatever reason this game seems to have it out for you.

2 rolls:

Rozuel (An angel with no RCV :? )
Pierdrawn

I probably shouldn't complain.

Nice roll.
At first, I did not see that much appeal in Sonia's but, finally, the things which makes them this good is their active skill, right ?

Not just the active skill, but the awakenings, stats, and leader skill all synergize well together. Red Sonia in particular is one of the best cards in the game because she has a huge pool of farmable and REM-only dark or red devil cards to make teams with, both as a leader and as a sub. She even fits on some dragon teams (e.g., Loyal Deity, Guan Yu) or red-attribute teams (e.g., Awoken Phantom God, Odin).

A fully farmable and capable Red Sonia team that one could start out with could be: Red Sonia; Moonbeam Fang Witch, Lilith; Dark Liege, Vampire Duke; King Baddie; 5 Mechdragon Combo, Demon Hadar; and Red Sonia.

I've been playing this when I can, trying to get through the original dungeons still. Kinda wish I started playing this sooner, I enjoy it a lot. Nowhere near you guys in terms of team-building depth and all that yet though, I just like the Tetris Attack/Puzzle Quest/Bejeweled mashup gameplay.

Is there any way to increase my odds of capturing something, say a dragon plant? (Waiting for Thursday to come around!) Does targeting it help?

Dragon plants are gotten on thursday dungeon and some other dungeon as well.
You should really, if not already done, sign in to this site :
http://www.puzzledragonx.com/

By giving your game ID, it tells you which "group" you are. This group determines which special dungeons you see and at which time.
For instance, with my D group, I see that a "Dragon plants infestation" is scheduled tomorrow.

And "Dragon plants infestation" is exactly the dungeon you're looking for ! It is quite easy and has a high chance of dropping 4+ dragon plants for your pleasure.
I usually tackle it with full stamina and ready to rank up, this allow me to run it about 8 times (15 stamina per time) and gather around 35 plants.

Also, when you reach rank 80, you'll be able to "buy" dungeons for a limited time, and you can buy dragon plants infestation (500.000 coins though) anytime you like.

Last night I rolled all of the 50 stones I'd saved up over the last few months targeting Osiris. Unfortunately no Osiris, but I did manage Nut, Nephthys, and Lumiel. I'm not too excited about any of those three right now, but I've been around long enough to know that the game has a way of making the less desirable gods of today the must-haves of tomorrow. No regrets.

In other news I finally beat challenge 9 this time around with a ragtag Red Sonia/Awoken Hades team. I'm not even going to attempt 10. I can't think of a single team that could reliably stand a chance in that dungeon, even if I had every hypermaxed card in the current US version of the game. Of course, you could get super lucky with an Anubis team, but otherwise I guess you just stone for victory, and I don't need the pii that bad. I'll wait for the next set of challenges.

I finally decided to buckle down and beat the rest of the technical dungeons which I guess I just never really cared to do prior to now. I'm at the last two now, and actually I'm pretty excited to finally get Fagan. He's actually one of the cooler farmable cards in the game. My jewels are ready.

It seems logical that targeting an enemy or killing it first before anything else might have some bearing on whether or not it will drop, so most people who are just starting out in the game believe this to be the case, but it's not true. All drops are predetermined the moment the dungeon is generated. It actually has to be that way for technical/security reasons to allow you to play through a dungeon without needing constant connectivity (as it stands your device only needs connectivity at the beginning and end of the dungeon), because if what you did in the dungeon had any bearing round-to-round, then the server at GungHo HQ would have to trust your device to be telling the truth about what dropped in your game, which opens the floodgates for people to hack their way to success via packet interception/tampering. All of this to say: blast away and hope for the best! There's nothing you can do.

I ended up doing 2 rolls on my main account this Godfest, and got a Ronia on the first roll (only took 450 days to get one on there) and the second one was an Osiris. My alt account didn't fare so well though. 4 rolls, and the only potentially useful one was Bastet.

A review of what I pulled the past 2 days:
Yesterday: Horus, Nim, Kushinadahime
Today: Leilan, Snow White

3 repeats! I don't mind skilling up my existings, but it's kind of disappointing not to have something new besides Horus and Nim. :/

I started playing, but I found out I won't be able to play for long since support for anything under iOS 6 is ending soon. :( At least the 3DS games are coming here in May.

yeah, I'm on iPad 1. It only went up to OS 5.1 something and isn't getting iOS 6.

Did a few last-minute pulls and managed to get Dark Angel, Lumiel and Red Riding Hood. Not really impressed, but they're new to my collection. I also pulled two duplicates in Sea Serpent and Melon Dragon, and I'm just tempted to feed them off to my +Egg reservoirs.

So Scarlet Snake Princess is available today in NA, up to expert level only.
I ran it 7 times, and got 7 Naga. Fed them all to my Echidna and got 2 skill ups (2.5x Skill up event active).
Is this regular luck ? good luck ? bad luck ?

Also, is it worth running the Master level (40 stamina) instead of the Expert level (15 stamina) to increase the drop rate ?

I believe the drop rate for bosses in most dungeons jumps from 5% to 40% in going from expert to master. So yeah, it would be worth running master to get tricky things like the bowl dragons to drop. I can't say if your skill up results are good or not but I would be very pleased with bumping her level to 3 in a days work, Menace can be a lifesaver.

After a pretty disappointing start to the recent god fest I grinded a bit in team challenge and managed one final roll last night. I got Osiris.

Base skill up chance is 10%, so on 2.5x you should average about 1 skill up per 4 feeds. 2/7 is slightly better than average. Not bad at all.

I think so. It's a bummer to run the survey style dungeons and not get a single drop of skill up fodder, and there's far less chance of that on Master level. I don't ever bother with Expert if there is a Master option.

It doesn't matter what it is, skill-ups are just a pain, period.

Speaking of skill-ups, I finally finished these two off today.

If I never see the Thursday mythical dungeon again it'll be too soon. Of course, I now have both a Ronia and a Gonia I recently rolled on my other account...

Congrats!

I think my Red Sonia is 0/35 for skill-ups now. It could be worse, but it's still soul crushing.

Edit: Speak of the devil. Did my last Thursday Mythical run of the day. Red Dragon Fruit and a Sonia skill-up. 1/36. 8)

A well-formed Hero team steamrolls that dungeon. I use Pandora for 2-3 minute clears.
