This is my first post on this forum, but I've been reading a lot on the forum about PVM/BVM TV's and this decided me to buy one of my own (Thanks Fudoh
The TV I bought is a BVM-2016p and I connected my PAL SNES to it via a RGB scart cable and a Scart to BNC adapter without sync stripper (retrogamingcables.co.uk)
After fiddling around with the settings a bit with the cross patters the Convergence settings look optimal to my eye, but I´m finding the picture missing some sharpness compared to my Philips 100z CRT I used before. (The colours are reasonable I think, a bit on the darkish side...)
Currently I´ve both the BVM and the Philips connected with my Shinybow matrix switcher so I have the images side by side.
This is how my Philips looks;

And this is the BVM;

Any suggestions or ideas?
My color settings are:
R Gain 167
G Gain 168
B Gain 113
R Bias 107
G Bias 085
B Bias 117
These are the factory default settings, how could I adjust these to get 'more' white to brighten up the picture?
Changes are very difficult to see with the naked eye...
Thanks!
