I just bought an NTSC Gamecube, it should arrive in a few weeks.
It is a DOL-001 model, the one with the digital port. So if i ever have the luck to find or buy a component cable then i am already good with this model of the gamecube.
However, as everyone here and on every damn website like Ebay knows, those component cables are far too expensive for me to ever buy.
So i was wondering, the next best thing for the NTSC Gamecube is s-video right ?
I will be using the gamecube through a framemeister.
Is there an official s-video cable from nintendo or which cable do you recommend i buy ?
I also read you cannot use a european gamecube scart cable, but wouldnt a NTSC SNES scart work as well ? They have the same connectors, but .... probably not the same pinout
I have a PAL Snes scart and an NTSC Snes Scart, wil none of those work ?
Cheers for any info or links to what cable to buy.
If anyone is willing to sell a component cable for a more reasonable price, please let me know
Thanks !
