Just wondering if anyone's tried this at all and if it's good.
I'm not an ace shmupper by any means, but this looks like fun.

The world would be a better place if there were less shooters and more dot-eaters.

It IS fun.
And surprisingly, using the two analog sticks + shoulder buttons works pretty well. It's a whole lot easier than using two joysticks that are nowhere near the same in shape and button layout. :B
The trick there is to pretty much keep the two planes flying in the same spot in unision as best you can. The best weapon layout seems to be the wide shot + R-Missiles - you'll cover a lot of screen real estate with teh fire alone, and the missiles deal extra damage to whatever's in it's vicinity. Bosses, fire patterns aside, can be disposed of fairly quickly with some careful bombing once in a while.
And by all means, post your results in the high-score thread!

Well it would even be more easily to use a twin sticks controller, i.e. two flight sticks installed on the control panel. I had actually made such a controller by installing two Sanwa JLJ-PL2-8V on a Hori RAP.Skyline wrote:And surprisingly, using the two analog sticks + shoulder buttons works pretty well.
