Hi guys
I recently picked up a 20m4e monitor. The picture is great and i've sorted the geometry.
My issue is the it emits a high pitched noise. Now i know its a trait of crts but it seems to be higher and more noticeable on this screen compared to my jvc and 14m2e to the point i find it uncomfortable.
what causes this noise in the first place and is it something i can look to remedy?
Thanks
High pitched noise on PVM 20m4e

Re: High pitched noise on PVM 20m4e
If it's audible it's probably a lower frequency noise than usual, unless two components are whining and causing beat interference.
Anyhow, I'd look into coil whine. I also understand that capacitors can also generate some noise.
