A fun little service I found and thought we could do with one ourselves. It's basically a database for groups with the added help of Google maps. If you feel like it, add yourself and see if any fellow shmup-o's are located nearby. Might help in setting up those shmupmeets, too.

Thanks for your efforts Ghegs! A very nice idea indeed!

Needless to say I added myself to the map.
I had the same problem as Leeram though, as google calls my town's name "invalid".

But I took the closest town available (just 8 km away and actually my town of birth!) as my "place", which I guess is fine alright.

I hope more people join in! Come on y'all!

Holy shit, Dylan. You live in Minot? My brother was born there. I was really too young to remember living in North Dakota, but my father (crusty ol' Air Force vet that he is) always used to refer to it as Mindrot.

Is it that bad? I just remember...cold.

I clicked on Diabollikos and ended up in Russia

Seems to be mostly USA citizens on the maps, accounting for 70% of the total.
