There's no difference in content, "Taito Best" ist just a rerelease, like "Greatest Hits" or "Platinum Best" or whatever.

What he said. Unless you really hate the "Taito Best" label on the cover art, you might as well grab the re-releases, they're the same games, and they're usually cheaper.

Usually cheaper in retail online importers. About the same price otherwise, even sealed and for the the superplay DVD versions of the first 2 Psikyo Collections.

Stuff like score saving isn't changed between releases, to the best of my knowledge...I know that one or two of the Psikyo collections don't save high scores (I forget which ones), but that was the case with the original game(s) as well, they just left it exactly as is for the re-release.

I'm pretty sure Strikers 1945 I + II doesn't feature high-score saves. As for Sengoku Ace + Sengoku Blade, I have no clue.

And yes, think of the Japanese PS2 "Best" series as the U.S. "Greatest Hits" series. SAME EXACT GAME, but a budget release and cover art.

Sengoku Ace + Sengoku Blade do save high scores and button settings. So thus the other one Sol Devide + Dragon Blaze. :o

Taito just too rush or skwap up at Strikers 1945 I + II...

what games are on this "Tatio's Best" you speak of? is it Taito Memories, or something else?

If it has Darius anything.... then Taito for the win.

besides, any Psikyo multi-pack, even if it had every Psikyo title, would all be the same game with different sprites... :/

Oh, would you stop spouting this nonsense. ;) They're not drastically different from one another but each game has at least 1 major characteristic separating itself from the others.

Well, sengoku blade is pretty much a horizontal strikers 1, but otherwise my point stands.
