Norton liveupdate not updateing, anyone else have it?

Hi Everyone,

I use liveupdate to update Norton Internet Security, however it has not updated the virus definitions since 4th Jan.

No matter what I do the liveupdate program tells me everything is up to date, and when I visit Norton's site the virus updates are dated 4th Jan.

However norton anti-virus itself is reporting that the files are dated 4th Jan but that states that they are out of date.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Yes. Somehow my liveupdate always crashes when I try to do it. I uninstalled and reinstalled, nada. It seems the program went bonkers on its own. HOWEVER, you can manually download the updates from Norton and run them as an exe to update the AV. It's better than nothing and if you're on dialup, it's not too long of a wait either.

The manual downloads I found are the same date as my computer is showing, i.e. 4th Jan.

Feck knows what's wrong.
