currently messing around with my n-gage unit, there was a nice STG pre installed (from the old owner) and now i am looking for more Shmups. Any idea where i can download old STGs for Symbian s60 or is there a list somewhere in the www ?
it did dig very deep...
i found a few very good games and a massiv ammount of work for my anti virus guard ^___^
I only look for Symbian v1 games cause i can play them on my ngage:

Sky Force / Sky Foce Reloaded - VERY GOOD 2D STGames ! check it out !
Dragonworld - 2D STG with Dragons similar to Dragon Spirit
MagicBroom - 2D CuteEmUp with a witch, very nice !
Fire Storm - 2D STG, plays like a Raiden clone, very good and many bullets

As embarrassing as it is to admit, I bought an ngage at launch and was kind of into it for about a year. The idea was great but the execution was just terrible. Maybe a little ahead of its time considering how much mobile gaming as blown up. Unfortunately I can't remember many shooters by name but there was quite a lot of them, the screen was obviously perfect. A lot of the java games were compatible with ngage dpad as well so maybe try expanding your search to those as well. Skyforce was really cool and I remember it being by far the best quality shooter in terms of polish.
