Gotta know something about trading these Gen games
Gotta know something about trading these Gen games
Should I trade in these games?:
Battletoads
Ms.Pacman
Midnight Resistance
Mystic Defender
Ghouls N' Ghosts
(There might be more.)
Is it me or was TMNT Tournament Fighter for the Genesis just SF 2 with a TMNT license and that the difficult was very hard.
Offtopic: Has anyone here heard of Godspeed You Black Emperor?

About the games, I'd sell them. Get the arcade version of Daimakamura if you like it and ditch the rest.
Personally, I would keep Mystic Defender because I think it's part of the creme of Genesis launch titles. One of my fav early Genny games.
And I agree 100% that TMNT: Tournament Fighters is very difficult. So difficult that when I rented it one time, I didn't even keep it the whole weekend I rented it for because I was too frustrated. I'm a TMNT fan as well, so the difficulty was off-putting enough for me to take it back to the store.

I dunno, those games are all pretty good, except Battletoads. Of course with GnG and Ms. Pacman you can find superior versions on compilations these days. And Midnight Resistance is sweet. The Genesis port might not be super awesome, but the game itself is a lot of fun.

We here shall not rest until we have made a drawing-room of your shaft, and if you do not all finally go down to your doom in patent-leather shoes, then you shall not go at all.
Actually, with Ms. Pac-Man, I think it's hard to find a superior version. The versions in most complations weren't arcade perfect. However, the Genesis version has new sets of levels and turbo boost options. The graphics aren't as close to the original as the Tengen NES version, though.it290 wrote:I dunno, those games are all pretty good, except Battletoads. Agreed. Most places that *will* take old school games won't give you nearly what they're worth. You'd probably have more fun playing them. Otherwise, maybe someone on the forums will trade.LoneSage wrote:I don't see what use it would be in trading them in anywhere, for the whole lot you'd probably get $5 of credit.
