Hidden Bayonetta 'shmup' on Platinum's 404 page

OK... it's a run 'n' gun, so pretty borderliner, but it's shmuppy enough not to be in Off Topic, I think.

Nothing much; just an easter egg really, and very rudimentary, but a nice touch by Platinum Games.

Here it is.

EDIT: I say 'run 'n' gun' but you seem fixed to the spot, only able to jump up the Y-axis. So it's a fixed rail shooter, yeah? Or an ''n' gun'.

It's the perfect sort of mobile game - super simple, and addictive in that, "Just one more try!" sort of way. I love me some Bayonetta, so having just finished both games, I checked it out a couple days ago when I first saw the link to it on Twitter. Not sure how shmup-related it is, other than enemies coming at you and you have to shoot at them to defeat them (almost a side-view Galaga with jumping), but cool nonetheless.

Oh, right. So I'm only half a decade bend the times?! I see the '404 mode' version is slightly different, but they did basically simplify a rather old joke. Something I do with a lot of my posts etc.
