Taito F3 with GBS-8220?

Post by Glossectomy »

I'm trying to find out if the GBS scalers are able to deal with the F3's video output better than the XRGB Mini. The Mini is unable to sync with it due to the oddly timed output from my understanding.

It might, from what I heard the H-sync runs at 16kHz

Indeed, it will do 14.5 - 16.5kHz for low res:

F3 works on my XRGB Mini. Using Sync Strike + Extron RGB 203rxi, I think.

I have the same setup, and unfortunately I still get extremely shaky video. I may have mess with it a bit more if you're able to get a fully synced image with it.

My bad, you were right.
As I remembered Puzzle Bobble 2X was more or less Ok, but I was probably wrong - I don't have this game anymore.
But trying with Rayforce today, it was not stable at all.

Might sound dumb, but does the 203rxi have a serstion switch? If so, how may that help?
