Fullbokko Heroes

Post by Vetus »

Smartphones are not the best option for shmups due to their lousy touch controls. The only kind of shmups you can enjoy on smartphones are fixed shooters a la Space Invaders due to their simplistic controls (just moving left and right). So I was happy when I saw this new, free fixed shooter with rpg elements called Fullbokko Heroes being released recently for smartphones in Japan. And it even has cameo characters from Tekken 7 which is a nice fanservice. Another plus is that it's co-developed by CyberConnect2, a development company that often make qualitative games like Solatorobo and Naruto fighting games (which are from the best license games).

I hope it will get an english release.

Nope. Puzzle&Dragons is a puzzle/rpg (and the best one I've ever played) while Fullbokko Heroes is a fixed shooter/rpg.

Yes, I know, but the RPG portion is done pretty much the exact same way. (Party of 5 with elements)

I'd actually like to see a Tekken shooter, kind of like KoF SkyStage.

I mean, Devil Jin already has DDP lasers as it is...

Paul Phoenix, of course, would just extend his hair into a screen-length beam.

NO! KoF SkyStage was boring! Even the KoF license didn't saved the situation.
